Vector files created with programs such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW are preferred. Accepted vector formats include AI, EPS, and CDR. We can also use PDF, PSD, TIF, or JPG files when the resolution is 300 DPI or higher.

If your logo uses a specific Pantone or PMS color, include that information so we can match the color as closely as possible.

An assignee is the person or organization to which patent rights have been legally transferred. Although patents name individual inventors, the patent rights are often assigned to the inventor’s employer or another company.

If you select “Yes” when asked whether you want the patent assignee shown on your product, the company named as the assignee on the published patent will appear on the award.

We typically use the drawing displayed on the front page of the patent. If the front page does not contain a drawing, we use the first available drawing that is not identified as prior art.

If the patent does not contain any drawings, we substitute the first claim from the patent.
