New 2020 Innovation Stamps Released by the US Post Office

Andre Iancu, Director of the USPTO, is quoted as saying “American Invention has been the engine behind our growth and improvement of the human condition around the world.” Also, “The United States will always be a nation of thinkers, doers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. Thank you to the U.S. Postal Service for celebrating American Innovation.”

These stamps recognize five distinct areas of innovation: computing, biomedicine, genome sequencing, robotics, and solar technology.

The innovations recognized on these stamps demonstrates the nation’s culture of risk-taking and a willingness to try new things. Collectively, America’s innovations have made the world a better place.
