COVID19 Support

As our nation continues to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic it is important that we continue to support the various organizations that provide aid to those in need. With feedback from our customers we have selected three great organizations to make donations to.

Patent Awards will donate $1,500 to Direct Relief to get protective gear and critical care medications to as many health care workers as possible. Since January, Direct Relief has delivered more than 30 million N95 and surgical masks, more than 7 million gloves, and over 1 million face shields and other items to help safeguard health workers.

We will donate $1,000 to Feed America to help fill food banks across the U.S. From March through June of this year, food banks nationwide distributed more than 1.9 billion meals to people facing hunger in the U.S. In March alone, 20% more food was given out compared to an average month.

An additional donation of $1,000 will go to the United Way Worldwide COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund. The United Way’s go-to information source in the U.S is called 211 and since the pandemic it has been fielding 200-400% more calls for food, financial assistance, and housing. This donation will provide support to people in need of assistance.
